about redwood

Our Difference

Redwood Literacy began as a team of educators in Chicago committed to closing the gap for students who weren’t getting the reading support they needed in traditional settings. Since then, it has grown into a national program partnering with schools, districts, and families across multiple states, including Tennessee.

Every Redwood instructor is a licensed teacher trained in evidence-based intervention for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. When reading feels harder than it should, students begin to fall behind and lose confidence fast. Our team uses research-supported, multisensory instruction to strengthen the reading system layer by layer—so kids stop guessing and start understanding.

REDWOOD literacy ONLINE

Helping Nashville students become
confident, capable readers.

Individualized
Every Redwood student receives an individualized intervention plan built around their unique baseline, progress rate, and end goals. Not one learning journey is the same as another.
Led By Experts
Every journey is led by a highly-trained, empathetic instructor equipped with evidence-based programs made specifically for kids with learning differences. Your child gets access to our think tank of neurodivergent specialists.
On Your Schedule
You pick the days and times your child meets with their online instructor. Best results are seen with longevity and consistency. A minimum dosage of twice-weekly sessions for at least three consecutive months is recommended to get started.
In the Loop
We partner closely with families, with weekly communication keeping them in the loop. Every month, you’ll receive a clear progress report outlining the skills your child has mastered and what’s next. These updates can be shared directly with teachers or IEP teams to support school-based goals.
