Dyslexia Tutoring

If your child struggles to read, write, or spell, Redwood Literacy’s high-impact tutoring programs rewire how the brain reads.

Our online and in-person dyslexia tutoring is grounded in the science of reading for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and related language-based learning differences. Families can choose 1:1 or small-group tutoring, with both options providing the same research-backed instruction led by expert intervention specialists.

One-on-One Tutoring

Redwood’s 1:1 online tutoring offers the highest level of individualization, where our specialists target the exact skills holding a student back.

Sessions strengthen the core processes behind reading and writing, addressing phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, fluency, and comprehension. Students work with a licensed literacy specialist who uses evidence-based, multisensory methods, tracks growth and consistently communicates with families.

High impact group instruction

Small Group Tutoring

Students are brought together in thoughtfully curated groups to receive best-in-class intervention while learning alongside peers with similar profiles. Instruction follows Redwood’s structured, science-of-reading approach, but the group setting adds something powerful: connection. Students practice skills together, celebrate progress, and realize they’re not alone. That shared experience often reduces anxiety and makes learning feel more approachable and even enjoyable.
