What’s up ahead...

At Redwood, we want to make sure students are equipped with everything they need to discover their learning potential.

To do this, we have an intake process to ensure we know your student well and can make sure they’re in the right Group Journey for them.

1. New Explorer Form

Every student is unique - tell us about your child and their recent learning paths. The New Explorer Form allows our team place your child in the best service based on your scheduling needs and your child's learning profile.

2. Placement & Registration

After filling out the New Explorer Form, our Admissions Team will send you our recommended service(s) for your child and the next steps to confirm your registration.

3. Sessions Begin

Upon registration, your child's instructor will reach out to introduce themself, share details about the first session, and establish a plan for gathering baseline data for tracking progress.

Do you offer financial assistance?

We do not offer financial assistance at this time for Flexible 1-1 services.

Does online tutoring actually work for kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia?

Yes! We've worked with an independent researcher since providing online services (2020), and the results are clear. Online tutoring is just as effective as in-person tutoring on average for our student population. If, after the three-month mark, we determine that online instruction is not working for your child, we will be transparent. It usually takes a bit of time to build rapport and learn the online tutoring structure, so be prepared for an adjustment period.
