Bringing Redwood Home to East Nashville
Co-founders Kait and Andre Feriante have called East Nashville home with their family since 2022. After building Redwood in Chicago and serving thousands of students across the country, they opened a local center so Nashville families could access the same specialized support in person.
For them, this is personal: a place where children who have been told they are behind can see what they are capable of.

No. Redwood works with students who have a formal diagnosis and students whose families know that reading, spelling or writing is harder than it should be. A consultation helps determine the right next step.
What ages do you serve in Nashville?
Redwood serves K–12 students. Small groups are primarily available for K–8 students, while one-on-one tutoring can support students across the full K–12 range.
Is this general tutoring or dyslexia intervention?
This is specialized literacy intervention. Instruction targets the underlying reading, spelling and writing skills that students with dyslexia, dysgraphia and related learning differences need.
