Redwood’s Summer 2024 Programming

If you’re looking for an intensive in-person option, we have our Immersive Structured Literacy Summer Camp that will be running for its 7th consecutive summer.

Two Locations: Edgewater & Oak Park

Monday-Friday June 24-August 2 (no sessions July 4 or 5)

Rising 2nd grade - Rising 8th grade

Both summer camps will offer individualized academic intervention in reading, writing, and assistive technology for significant learning gains.

Edgewater (Full Day Option - $6,000): 8:30-4:30 PM — Includes a morning full of academic intervention and an afternoon full of fun enrichment activities including art, music, sports, STEM, business-building, and film-making. Before & after-care is available (7:30-8:30 AM, 4:30-5:30 PM).

Oak Park (Half Day Option - $3,500): 8:30-12:30 PM — Includes a morning full of academic intervention. Before-care is available (7:30-8:30 AM).

PLEASE NOTE: Redwood desires to meet the needs of as many students as we can. There may be instances where we are unable to meet the needs of students, in a small group setting, who require 1 on 1 support for behavioral, developmental, or language needs. Virtual Flexible 1-1 Sessions

If you are traveling this summer or if your child is signed up for other fun summer camps, then you need something flexible. This summer, we are introducing packages of ten 1-1 sessions in reading, written expression, math, & assistive technology* that you can schedule anytime you want across the summer months.

How does it work?

1) Browse various instructors’ schedules to choose the best time slots for your family.

2) Book the ten sessions that work best for you from June 1st to August 31st, 2024.

3) Log in from anywhere at the time of your session.

In-person summer small group

Are you looking for in-person summer literacy tutoring? We’re offering small group sessions utilizing the Wilson Ready System® or Writing Our World™ at our Rogers Park location.

Dates: Mondays-Thursdays, June 17-August 9, 2024 (no session 6/19 or 7/4)

Times: Wilson Reading® Summer Small Group 9:00-10:15 AM

Writing Our World™ Summer Small Group 10:30-11:45 AM

Location: 7007 N. Glenwood Ave. Chicago, IL

Age: Rising 1st grade through 8th grade

Cost: $2,000 for 8 weeks
